چکیده
Abstract Controlled-release nitrogen fertilizer (CRNF) can effectively enhance crop yields and raise the efficiency of in agroecosystems. In present study, volatilization NH 3 was determined by airflow enclosure chamber technique after application different CRNF rates double-cropping rice fields southern China for continuous years. The early late season (ESR LSR) were cultivated each year. results showed that total losses ranged from 25 to 56 kg N ha ?1 ESR 32 61 LSR. loss applied 12 29% 27% significantly reduced cumulative 20–43% 20–32% LSR compared with conventional urea application. less effective reduce than ESR. Furthermore, 80% rate form gave higher grain yield apparent recovery (ANRE) 100% urea. volatilization, increase ANRE. Considering price CRNF, at lower (20% N) may be a reasonable fertilization strategy improving use efficiency, environment effectiveness, sustaining development production systems rice.

Profitable and Sustainable Fertilizer-Management Option in Double Cropping of Irrigated Rice in Senegal River Valley
One of the main factors limiting the yield and productivity of irrigated rice in the Sahel of West Africa is the high cost of fertilizers and inefficient use of nutrients in the cropping systems. A two-year experiment was conducted over four consecutive seasons at Ndiaye (16°11’N, 16°15’W) and Fanaye (16°32’N, 15°11’W) along the Senegal River Valley to investigate alternative fertilizer managem...
متن کاملAmmonia Volatilization from Dairy and Poultry Manure
Ammonia volatilization is a major N loss process for surface-applied manures and urea fertilizers. The lost ammonia is important for both agricultural and non-agricultural ecosystems because it: i) is a direct loss of plant available N to the farmer, ii) reduces the N:P ratio in manure, which accelerates P build-up in soils, and iii) contributes to eutrophication in aquatic and low-N input ecos...
متن کاملIncrease in ammonia volatilization from soil in response to N deposition in Inner Mongolia grasslands
Ammonia (NH3) is an important component of the nitrogen (N) cycle in terrestrial ecosystems and is a significant atmospheric pollutant. Results from studies of ammonia emissions from semi-arid grasslands have been infrequently reported although these emissions may be increasing rapidly with a subsequent increase in atmospheric N deposition. Moreover, whether N deposition regimes (fertilization ...
متن کاملAmmonia Volatilization from Urea-Application Influenced Germination and Early Seedling Growth of Dry Direct-Seeded Rice
Poor seed germination and early seedling growth associated with urea-induced soil ammonia volatilization are major constraints in the adoption of dry direct-seeded rice. To directly examine soil ammonia volatilization and its damage to seed germination and early seedling growth of dry direct-seeded rice when urea is applied at seeding, two Petri-dish incubation experiments and a field experimen...
متن کاملIncorporating Controlled - Release Fertilizer Technology into Outplanting
The application of controlled-release fertilizers (CRF) at the time of planting offers a means to improve the establishment of forest tree seedlings. As compared to conventional fertilizers, the gradual pattern of nutrient release from CRF may better coincide with plant needs, minimize leaching, and improve fertilizer use efficiency. Many different CRF types are available and products differ in...
